Thanks, and yes that is correct.
I love scorpions.

I REALLY REALLY want scorpions in the game, I've put a ton of effort into this idea, I really hope Mateuz puts my creation into the game we all love so much.

lol. u should come here. lots of the buggers around.
getstung about one a month. they get in ur shoes, clothes etc lol.
but the big ones (10-15 cm) are nice on the bbq.

We have sand scorpions here in Oklahoma, catch them every year, they love termites...

I like the drawing, and its a great idea. If they're not too hard to code, I think there are a lot of monsters and drops that could be added, especially in the 100+ levels.

That being said its too powerful for 165th. I ran this out vs my RPG group. See the results below. It also demonstrates how incredibly important DEX is to this combat system.

186th level group. and i believe i've put a lot of emphasis on DEX.
Sword: 486/565/201 (33khp)
Arch: 451/439/201 (29khp)
Axe:398/561/201 (32khp)
Club:435/572/201 (32khp)
Mage: 433/220/24 (258 real mana)

Attacking I'll only hit on 5's, or every 7.7seconds. Avg damage: 1770 75000hp/1770=42cycles*7.7seconds=326seconds

My tank will take damage every 0.7 seconds. Avg damage: (1256*2+(1256-565)*9)/11=793 per .7 second.
I put this into spreadsheet: My mage heals at approx 700hp cast and regens 11.8mana per 5 seconds, so casting 1 for 1 vs scorpion attack, plus an extra heal every 7 seconds to cover the 93 difference I can keep up tank's HP for 78 seconds; then I can cast 1400 every 5 seconds, and another 700 every 15seconds (the 1.8mana rolling forward). Tank drops dead after 118 seconds. Scorpion still around 60% original HPs.

Even disarming the tank to benefit from regen, the tank dies 240 seconds after initiation of hostilities. (and scorpion taking 25% less damage).

I didn't even bother running the #s with healing potions, even with 80 backpack slots open.

Alternate Ending:
Now, if I spent the next 8 levels into DEX, I would flip the hit/miss ratio, and I'd be 194th level.
Attacking: Hitting 100% - Avg damage: (1770*2 (4s/5s)+(1770-4*(165))*9)/11=1230/0.7 seconds.
75000hp/1230=42 cycles * 0.7second = 43 seconds until the scorpion's a pile of bug juice.

Defending: Tank will only get hit on 5s, for 1256 every 7.7 seconds. Taking about 6 hits for total of 7500.
Since I don't have to necessarily heal, I could attack with mage and reduce kill time as well.

I could easily fight 1 or 2 at a time almost indefinately at 194th. However, kill rate of 1 per 30-40 seconds is pretty slow, and unless there is a really good drop or very high XP (this is much harder as than Dinosaur which gives 1.1M), I don't think I'd fight them at that level. 200-210 seems about the lowest. So maybe a 200th level weapon drop or Armor would make it worthit. Although if its 1/1000....you realize how long it would take to kill enough to get a drop :-).....

Open to having the math checked/corrected. I might have gotten something wrong, but used calculator and spreadsheet.

...and yes I know I should get a life.

Thanks fir this insight, I suck at math, but what you say really makes sense, I was unaware that all that info was involved. .. I guess I made a super scorpion lol....

I do have designs for drop from scorpions, and as of yet no other armor like it in the game, Archer Bracers (see picture).
