Ok, that is a very early quest which is part of the game tutorial. This comes before the spectre walker quest. Not to worry :) Have you spoken with Kulgan's guard at Kedington Village? Just seen your reply. Buy the club (12k gold warhammer) at martek 2.-1 and then go back to the ogre who is fishing...

I finally got it figured out. All the ogre wanted was a war hammer. I had to try a few different ones until I found the right one thank you to those who tried to help.

Is there a gm that's active that could possibly help with the quest not giving the hammer?

Yeh I'm not sure. But I did the other 3 -+4 tools but fishing rod nice won't talk no dot even

Is it possible to get a club to finish the fishing ogre quest? I finished the higher lvl portion but the gaurd didn't give club.

One of my accounts did the fishing pole Kulgan quest when the tutorial came out. One day I went by the ogre fishing and seeing the question mark over his head talked to him and got the same message you did...get my club for the second time! I cannot complete it a second time so it is stuck forever ...

Yea he just says happy exploring or something like that and kulgan just want to sleep
