Really feel like level 1-1000 should be quicker, each map have quests and enemies for certain levels

K so I've been playing this game for a while had about a year off and came back, not sure if I'm the only one that agrees with thIs but the game hasn't really changed in my eyes besides new gear/maps/more quests, seems like no one is active in the new maps. Just wondering if anyone else felt the sam...
