Re: A Forgotten Tales ABC's

Mithril- One of the precious ores available by mining. It is valuable for crafting the very useful +3 picks, axes, hammers, and fishing rods. It also can be used to craft armor and weapons and as a requested item in several quests. The source of mithril is guarded by some senseless beasts! If you do...

Re: A Forgotten Tales ABC's

Mining- As someone once said “mine your own business!” indeed! Unless you want to buy everything in the game from others, developing your mining skills is a great but time consuming part of FT play. With new map additions the mining options have grown with some ores having restricted access reachabl...

Re: A Forgotten Tales ABC's

Martek- The hub of the FT world! Up to a certain level this is a great spot to buy gear and sell monster drops. Unlike the gouging Silverwood shops Martek will give you a fair price and it has the 1000 HP health potion vital to early survival! Like Ashdown Village its renown is jealously attacked da...

Re: Quest Issues

I believe the hammer is on the second page of blacksmith shop items.

The warrior princess is not in the tavern she is near the river just south of the bridge that takes you to the fairy island. Sorry not logged on game but I believe one map east from the tavern map.

Re: A Forgotten Tales ABC's

Leveling- The goal of this game is to level. Levels allow you to do more leveling. When you level and reach a goal there are more goals requiring more levels. All along the way this game provides quests and monsters to fight that help you level. At a certain point of near godhood in experience level...

Re: A Forgotten Tales ABC's

Luck- What does that have to do with anything? I am sure the math wizards among us can give a percentage of chance of an event occurring considering the elements involved. But trust me on this you may not have the time to test something a 1000 times to verify the stats! Here are some non-scientific ...

Re: A Forgotten Tales ABC's

Keys- They are the key to many FT adventures! :D If you gathered and kept every key available in the game you would need to buy a house to store them all! :o Let’s consider what they allow you to do: -mages need a key to acquire a slow spell (as if they don’t move slow enough already!) -a key must b...

Re: A Forgotten Tales ABC's

Knights- No medieval themed game would be complete without them. Some suppose anyone who carries a sword is therefore a knight of the realm. Alas no. Knights may be good or they may be bad but unlike a simple swordsman they operate according to a code. Part of game play in FT is to determine what go...

Re: The Trials and Tribulations of LostKnight

This whole quit/return scenario reminds me of the old show Cheers theme song where we like this place because " everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came"
