Isn't the bonus of the +3 or +2 fishing rod (or indeed any crafting tool) only valid until the player reaches a certain level in that particular skill? I think this has been discussed before but I can't remember the answer! Afaik, the +1 and +2 toold just add one or two virtual level(s) to the skil...

Yeah, for sure - that's the solution. I guess I was just trying to point our that there will almost certainly always be ways to scam or annoy other players.

My personal solution is to only buy items /lvls for yourself and then you can avoid the situation in the first place!
