They all kept their XP earned too at the un-adjusted rate of less xp per mob. Could have done the formula (level - bought) > 3377, if true then whatever level difference (X) - 3377 = Y. Y being how many "earned" levels post 3377 Y x 2.14b (XP cap) to figure up total exp, then take total XP...

Ehhh, all of these crybabies "earned" X amount of XP and they kept that same X amount of XP. Plus their purchased levels were given the highest value. Nothing was lost or gained, more value was given to their purchased levels and they were allowed to keep all XP earned at the original rate...

I have to agree. Levels under 3377 shouldn't have experience required to gain levels changed. Also agree, would not be fair to those that did spend the time to do so already. New leveling meta: %-DMG skill account style for low lvl / new account for fastest gains, switch to mage after lvl needed for infinite MP for even faster gains, switch back to whatever class you want when finished grinding.
