There are NPC's and Quest Entities.
A Quest Entity is locked in place and will always be there.
A NPC is placed in a "chunk" of the map and spawns the same way as monsters. They will only appear if you enter the chunk they are in. Sometimes you have to finish a quest for them to appear.

That is a nice idea. Maybe not skins, but different pets but with the same stats. So you can choose between 5 or 10 different monsters, but all have the same stats and level.
I think it would look nicer with a lot of players. Instead of the same 5 pets you have 25 different ones.

I have this issue as well, but only on the PC version. When I change maps I get a blackscreen, get kicked out of the game bur my account is still logged in.
This has never happened on my phone or tablet, just on the PC.
