Please download update for map editor. It is needed to create maps compatible with the latest game version.

Let's say I wanted to make a new mage skin.
With some custom animations.
How could I test that?

I've been toying with the editor.
I can change my swordsman to a mage skin, but he's still actually a swordsman.
I can add a mage to my party, but... I can't actually test the spell casting animation...
He attacks with his wand and spell at the same time.

The big downside is the editor is stuck in RPG mode.
I've edited a config file to "MMO", which it seems to accept, but it is still in RPG mode.
Anyone got any ideas?

In the java dorectory files, switch the swordsman animation for what you did. And try to test a map .. maybe run

without grabbing my pc, you say the mage attacks and casts at the same time... is that true when away from enemies and just casting heal, slow, etc?

Also, instead of changing the character, you could always change the set of graphics it uses to attack (i.e. make it use the casting graphics when it attacks (or even walks for that matter) ... lemme know if this doesn't work, I'll keep thinking, maybe even log in and toy around with it :)

Ah, never thought of trying a different spell :lol:

I've never really played the RPG for more than 5 minutes...
And I only stuck a yellow flow in the pack.
Back to the drawing board...

Nope, doesn't work.
When I try to switch spells with the bottle icon, I get the notification "only mage".
Even when I have the mage selected, and I'm moving him around.
And... when I check the pack, it's always the swordsman I see.. I can't change any other gear... is this supposed to be this way?
