In many occasions players ingame suggest me to set freya's stats at DEX+10 than monster in order to have better results.

The reading of formulas as stated in Game Help file leads me to think DEX+6 would be good enough, and that setting at DEX+10, DEX+50 or DEX+whatever only might lead to less points to add to STR.

Is this "+10" due to math reasons I fail to see?
Or is it due to our human love for round numbers based on 10 and on the cognitive positive bias multiples of 10 lead us to?

Can someone please enlighten me on that point, sound math and coding at hands?

I think its
1) human loves
2) have better chance
3) lucky number to some
4) they not currectly sure for enemy dex
5) you might meet an enemy while traveling. why not have good dex to fight

A good tip for swordman pvp:
Keep your dex higher than your level

For your info, with the current game mechanics, dex+6 is enough. For PvM combat, have more dex is not an advantadge at all, and as you said, this extra dex points could be added to your str to give you a more powerful attack, or to your arm to have more HP. This argument is valid too in PvP combat with weapon/wand atacks.
In PvP combat against spells atacks, the dex is subtracted of the damage, so here makes some sense have a highter dex.

I donk know where come this +10 from.

I usually use DEX +7 ..Why??...hmmm....There are seven days of the week, seven colours of the rainbow, seven notes on a musical scale, seven seas and seven continents.
