I have War and Peace on Kindle. The original dead-tree book was ruined in an act of self defence when I was attacked by the school bully, I hit him over the head with it and broke the spine. <<-- instant thought as I read this: I hope the book!

My wife decided to accompany on my travels yesterday, you know bank, bills et al... so of course there was a shoe store to visit, and perfume store, and a kazillion windows to stop and look through ... BUT she did invite me got a coffee.
