There's nothing wrong with that, as long as there's something in FRONT of those 0's. Mine can't claim that...
You mean like a $ ?
That's me --->>> $0

Decimal points count for being in front of the zeros?
That depends on where you live but yes.
1.000.000 is 1 million here and 1 where you are.
Historical and now ...
I was taught that this is "one billion" when in school: 1,000,000,000,000
Which happens to coincide with what a billion is here, so I had to "change" real quick for FT's billion.
And I remember asking MadMike about it.
Code: Select all
Billion
↓ Hundred Million
↓ ↓ Million
↓ ↓ ↓ Thousand
↓ ↓ ↓ ↓
1,000,000,000,000.00 <- not here
1.000.000.000.000,00 <- here
FT World, commas or decimals depending on where you are:
Code: Select all
Billion
↓ Million
↓ ↓ Thousand
↓ ↓ ↓
1,000,000,000.00 <- not here
1.000.000.000,00 <- here
And a beggers billion: $000.000.000.1 or $,000,000,000,1
