Personally, I love the new avatar! The ineptitude sheds new light on the "mad" theme! ;)

Haha
Glad you love the gif.
It was made completely with online tools.
Youtube vid as source, another site to choose the frames for the gif (the one in the sig), and another site to format it to our miniscule forum avatar format (180x180 pixels max, and up to 98kb).
Got to love what you can do these days, with free tools.

Speaking of youtube...
My gf has been watching excerpts from a show called "Who's Line is it Anyway"... which is so hilarious, she was in tears many times.
Made it very tough to play FT while she had it on.
If ever you're looking for something fun, it's a good show to look up.
It used to air on American TV, so it's pretty much ok for most who would read this.

Fun fact: the American TV show was based on the UK TV show, which was based on a radio program.
It ran for many years, and had a lot of great laughs along the way - so you can watch the vids for hours.

And back to the gif - a good laugh is always good.
Make sure you get some every day ;)
That is indeed a scene from the movie Willow, and the character is Madmartigan. Good watch too.

Very good show! My wife and I watched that all the time years ago, and still worth a watch when you come across it. I've seen both versions, and both are great. :)

Also, I came to the forum to look up one very specific thing, but instead got sucked in by LK's thread entirely. Finished up here and closed my browser...

Oh, yeah! The stuff I was going to do originally!

My best friend from Basic Training, in '68, has cancer, a flurry of emails today. So today started off sad, what can I say. Been keeping myself busy here at home and on and off ingame with an alt for some "quiet time" playing between stuff here and emails. The following text by bits and bytes, computer pun intended, at a time.

Seems like forever since I have written here. Anyway a couple a couple of days ago I fell asleep in the carbon mine and when I woke the next morning I get a notice about opening my backpack and activate the purchasable item. Looking in my backpack I see, 1 mithril pickaxe and the rest is all carbon ore. Hmmmmm mining and shopping while sleeping, neat trick. Well, what can I do, I head for Rockheim North (RHN), Steinheim near Kedington, Rockheim South (RHS) being the rock on the northwest corner of the pond in Ardesia City and I craft carbon ingots. When done I look in my bag and there they are, two pet pills. Well, that’s what I call them. I am 99.9999% sure I know who put them there. And after a few PM's back and forth the Club Bros, Humpty and Dumpty, joined the team. Ogre halflings, glass cannons, the egg pet! Kills in the blink of an eye and dies just as quick!

MadMagus volunteered to "train" me on their use. And he was not kidding when he said they are fun but there is a BUT! And what a BUT it is, MadMike repeated this BUT over and over, it's engraved my my mind now not likely my "forgetter" will wipe this one out.
The MadMage MadMagus himself wrote:The Club Bros will die, it's what they do best!
Well he didn't exactly say "The Club Bros", he said: they. :D

So this is to the Pet Stork:
LostKnight wrote:Thank you but don't get mad at me when they die, because that's what they do best. Consider them: Born To Be Wild and Die Fighting! I will however endeavour to keep Humpty and Dumpty on The Wall as long as I can.
Is that Pink Floyd I hear in the background?

And a HUGE thank you MMMM for your tutelage, wisdom and help getting a few quests done. Maybe I can manage to keep the Club Bros "ON The Wall" for a while longer.
