Player/GM relationship

I was down leveling in elder trappers last night. The whole cave was open and was just me for about 30 minutes.

I was not near anyone and off by myself with about 15/20 Elder trappers being spawned at a time.

This is when player B showed up to where i was and put his pets in front of mine.

He is half my level and he had worms and I lighting bees.

The spawn surrounds his pets which he just put in front of mine. He begins to cry i spawned to much. I explained he should move the whole cave is open. He told me i need to move.

He then tells me if i donrlt move he will report me. For what rite? So he logs and reports me. He comes back and moves to a new spot. I think this is finished.

No i wake to the GM telling me in a private message i do not own a spot. Did this GM even look into what happen? Did i break a rule? How am i in the wrong? I can only come to the conclusion they are friends.

I do not care who is friends with who. You can not make me move for another player and i have the same rite to level.

I did not include names and will not. You know who you are and what happen.

The point i am making is why did a GM even get involved?

Was there any rules being broke?

I guess for me when does a GM over step? Is it there job to tell us where and how to level?

I always have respect for others who are leveling. If i show up and the spot is taken i find a different spot. I did not kbow we could message a GM to get a spot.

What happened to common courtesy? yes, I prefer to grind in the same spot since I play at roughly the same time each day. however, if I logon and someone else is there, I don't complain. I just relocate, keep an eye on the mini map, and then move back once they leave.

I agree, no one has exclusive rights to any spot. still, there are plenty of places to go!

Yes. I agree. I do the same thing. If i log on and someone is there, then i move to another spot as a common courtesy.

I do not know exactly what happened.

I certainly don't go to where a player is spawning and park my pets right in front of them.

I try to be considerate to other players.

Of course we obly hear your part of the story but his brings up a few questions.

1 Is it ok to log in an stand in front of another already there and steal his spawn?
I know this was considered against the rules in the past.
nothing to do with owning spot or map.more like. first come first served.

2) It looks like you were indeed reported, the GM should have told you for what you were reported, for what action and breaking which rule in what way. than he should have allowed you to tell your story.

3) asuming your story is the truth, this other player made a false trying to frame you. this is a very serious offence and if a GM acused you without listening to your story I would definitaly contact an admin. Not to.acuse the GM, but also to get that player what he deserves.
stealing a spot is bad but false acquisation with the intend to get someone jailed is even worse

There was no punishment just words exchanged. I just feel like the GM telling me i dont own a spot is telling me i did something wrong. I take what GM say seirous. They are law. Should this law be used over someone wanting a spot?

I repeat there was no punishment!

I suspect that this is a conversation that you and the GM and also the GM and the other player will have in private.

When it happens that two (or more) players are on the same spot and cannot share it in friendship and fun, there often problems arise.

In this case, I've received a report about a... crowded spawning spot.
Given the circumstances, I believe no punishement was required.
Involved players did thus receive a warning, if they were needing one, or went simply reminded about map spots being owned by nobody.

If you have any question on the details of this episode, h4t3rz, please write me :)
