I've said before but my avi is one of my favourite ever albums: Primal Scream - Screamadelica. Give it a listen if you haven't already.

So, why is your avi your avi?

Honestly, it's the first one that I found that I both liked the look of and that actually fitted the requirements for a profile photo

I didn't have a picture for the first few hundred levels I played. I chose one that was temporary and didn't last long. I upgraded to this one because (1) I liked it and (2) it looked similar to level 500 gear for sword which was about where I was at. New gear now, but I still like it.

Deep meaning there!

Mine was a bit tricky. I wanted a viking or Norse look but chose a female character to play. The picture I settled on was an illustration out of Kearney's Heroes of Asgard book. In real life I have a grey beard and would love to wear such head gear! So how do I reconcile playing a freya and looking like a time tested viking warrior? The idea to be a freya was to honor the Nordic part of my hertage and Gulland had to do with that heritage from my mother's side. Hence since no male viking in game to pick initially I picked the female in honor of the heritage from my mother naming my player to also honor that.

I scoured the net for a nice avatar, and came up with the one I have.

I liked the stance, the dark suit and the cape.
