FT unanswered questions and strange features

Post by Leone »

We should question these oddities weve noticed around the game map.

For example:

Most maps with rivers have several bridges, so why only one at -1, -1?

In the library, we only ever take one book but never ever return it.

It costs just 200 gold to get into the prime spot king silverwood castle but a whopping 40m to go to desolate Devils Island

What happens to the 100 and 200 gold we spend on martek and silverwood? (Think I've asked this before )

The 40 million goes to paying the bridge toll to the troll living under the only crossing at the bridge at -1.-1.

The 200 gold goes for paying late fees for the books never returned at the library.

Good answers. Here's some more:

Where do the pirates come from? And what is so interesting at ashdown anyway?

If trees get chopped down, why do rocks not disintegrate?

To date , every single FT player cannot swim. What's that all about?

How come when people pay for the miners at Ardesia the "miners" don't get the gold?

HUH? HUH?? HUH??? I ask ya!

All those people muddying up my house, they don't even wipe their feet when they come in.
They give me the gold but I never see a single gold coin.

How come the woodcutter at 0.0 needs help killing wolves when he is armed with an axe?

How did fish get in the small ponds in the desert?

For the king's garden daily Mage quests, if rats have one tail and bats have two wings shouldn't we get twice as many drops from bats?

Why can you hit a petrified tree and get meteors or soul stones?

How come the gravedigger at Ashdown digs everywhere not just his graveyard? Is there something we haven't been told?

Why do some spiders drop a pair of boots instead of four pair?

What is in the chests in the upstairs rooms at the brass monkey tavern?

What is the tutorial mage Kulgan's apprentice called?

How come the woodcutter at 0.0 needs help killing wolves when he is armed with an axe?

It's a toy axe, which is why he's been able to swing nonstop but not cut any trees.

How did fish get in the small ponds in the desert?

They were born there, but it's harder to explain how the previous generation of fish got there.

For the king's garden daily Mage quests, if rats have one tail and bats have two wings shouldn't we get twice as many drops from bats?

Normal rats maybe, but giant rats evolved to walk upright and now tails on giant rats are rare.

Why can you hit a petrified tree and get meteors or soul stones?

The Keebler elves put them there. Best not to be disrupting production of E. L. Fudge cookies now unless you want to make a scene!

How come the gravedigger at Ashdown digs everywhere not just his graveyard? Is there something we haven't been told?

The gravedigger lured the pirates into a trap. What goes on afterwards is pretty sketchy, but when the orcs are done with the bodies getting them consecrated is probably for the best...

Why do some spiders drop a pair of boots instead of four pair?

The spiders with four pairs are able to run away, of course.

What is in the chests in the upstairs rooms at the brass monkey tavern?

We all know the Amazon wasn't the tavern owner's first assistant!

What is the tutorial mage Kulgan's apprentice called?

Nagluk?

Hahaha!!!! I'm trying to envision a spider with 8 boots on his feet scurrying away.

To answer one of the other questions....where do pirates come from?

That's easy.....mummy and daddy pirate  or maybe Ashdown is like the beaches where sea turtles or seals come to have their young. Isn't that a mind boggling scenario! :D

Who is the father of the boy who lost the sword at Ashdown?

How come my female alts get called sir or young man in so many quests?

What in the world is fenugreek that the lady wants with spider poison to cure her ill son?

Are regular fish considered +1 fish? And rare fish +2 fish? And any item a +3 fish?

Bones are usually white, what happened to some of the skeleton mobs to make them other colors?

Why are vegetables underrepresented in FT?

Where do the vials to collect vampire blood or spider potion come from?

What is with the lonely rat that appears sometimes in the dungeon under the library?

Where exactly on pets do stored items go?
