No that will not happen, the pet-killer when caught will get punished, but now pets are not returned.

Which goes back to the pet owner is being foolish or tempting fate bringing pets to an area they cannot survive for even a few seconds against mobs...

Gotta keep dem eyes open when you have vulnerable pets meow.


That fast experience comes at a risk; I always discourage New players that are unfamiliar with pet handling to get Ogres especially if they can't replace lost pets easily. Definitely not a "first $ pet" to get imo.


Always falls upon deaf ears though, the allure of fast xp/lvls is too great. Then people cry and "quit" after they lose them and don't have them replaced.


Literally spent the past couple days talking to some nub about him getting first pets. Even after warning he says gonna get halflings first cuz mmmmmmeow dat fast xp!

I'm just like lol aight, well gl meow <3

Now, now cash, you have to admit it really is fast XP until ... OH my that was fast, they die!

BUT they are excellent for ABOVE GROUND on:
-1.1, 0.1, 1.1, 2.1,
-1.0, 0.0, 1.0, 2.0
-1.-1, 0.-1, 1.-1, 2.-1

Tbh I used 'em, the allure of the XP is well warranted for that level range.

You're still pretty much guaranteed to lose a few though, it's not just players that kill them but also a lil lag can take 'em out.

Personally switched to worms as soon as I could. Rather get a bit lower xp than have to deal with a pet dying in a few seconds just from bad luck.

Programme in a way to make ogre halflings scared of water. They will not travel on boats.
