I must say, I like this new function! I may even try my luck at a few quests which I've sidelined because my poor fingers tired from constant tapping.

One question: when does the update come to iOS???

At what level does a mage have permanent regeneration of mana?

4k mana is "unlimited mana".

Did the calculations for "unlimited" change with the spells being capped at 5/second. Theoretically if you can't go over that 5 mark wouldn't you use mana a bit slower and make it easier to recover?

The "unlimited mana" i dont think was even considered.
I do believe that 5 per sec will lower the amount needed. Thus lowering the level at which it happens. And then making mages even more op at earlier levels. Regen rate should have been slowed to compensate.

That will kill lower level mages won't it?
