Misplaced trees?

I'm just curious... How does this happen? I sometimes see trees where there were none before. I know the bank didn't always have a tree...

at one time i wasnt able to use the portal because a tree grew out of it

When a tree is cut on a map another will grow at a random location on the map a bit later. At reset trees will go back to their normal spots, but there are some amusing spots trees can show up in the meantime.

My favorite is the npc grass cutter guy up on the roof of a house just cutting away!

I did not know they grew back randomly... That does explain what I see though. Thanks!
