Forgotten Tales

I thought this might be of interest as I mentioned once in another thread that I had a recognition of some of the pictures used in FT. These are from the game Battlemaster and my copy of the file is from April 2011. I found FT in 2016 and this similarity of sprite design made me immediately interested...and the rest is history!

Yes these were from a small game with a few scenarios replicating the board game of Battlemasters. Battlemasters was put out by same group that made the all time awesome boardgame called Hero Quest. Leone"s link explains how FT's sprites are from a common creator.

Wow....me and my brothers used to have the original Hero Quest board game. It was ace!

I still have Hero quest'. Complete with all the pieces. And there is also an old PC game, maybe I find it among the mame.

I remember that I draw the maps, and we made up the stories.



After Hero quest'. we switched to DeD. But this deserves a separate chapter.
