I believe the max is 35 or 36... Perhaps one of the experienced clan members know for sure. Hopefully they will post, or you can ask them in-game ;)

Then this could be a bug. Clan halo currently has 34 members, but I'm unable to invite a player called ten foots. He has 500k gold. I also tried to invite others but that doesn't work either.

For the information i could get it seems the max members you can have in a clan is 34 , but maybe someone with a clan wich is full in members can confirm this.
