Finding mage first time

I have 5 members team. completed 'stolen sword', and 'herb'. but need to do 'cooks'. Where to find mage ? is there any conditions associated. i have blue knight. But where is 'mage' ? I havent completed, 'witch's quest' and so 'blacksmith' are there level adjustments to find mage, first time. where is he? pls. help in finding him first time.

to get the mage u should walk down to the snowy areas. at the top of one of those maps there is an entrance to an ogre dungeon. in front the mage awaits u for a quest (red/blue bracelet). if u complete the quest for him, he vanishs. u will find him again on the street north to the bandits tower. if u talk to him he agrees to join the group but u have to abandon the knight for him. its ur decision then. u will not get a 2nd change. chose either knight or mage. good luck and enjoy the game!
