I'm pointing the quest out to new users as a sideline.

Wow!!! Well done.... Informative, mixed with humor, and rewarding. This ought to help new players get a great first impression of the game as well as essential resources. I took myself through it and really enjoyed it and liked the game play reminders... I feel better informed too! I don't know if this is mandatory for new players but it definitely should help and the rewards should be reason enough to do it.
Congrats and thanks to Kulgan this addiction is a real winner!

AHA! To spell check or not to spell check, that is the question!
Take a look at any post you write ... see the little pencil: That's an Edit Button, you can correct the bad spell check correction.

Re: Kulgan's tutorial quests
I am the "tpyo knig" and editing is my bane. I rely on spell checkers unfortunately sometime a "tpyo" form a real word and spell checkers don't catch those. What I need is a "What you meant to type" checker.

Re: Kulgan's tutorial quests
Good segue there, LK!
I'm in the process of doing the tutorial with my main character, but had to stop to go grocery shopping. Those kids with their "I'm hungry!" thing, I tell you...
Still, this is truly a great thing to have. One huge plus is that the tasks you are doing for the tutorial are pretty much things you would want to do anyhow, so you are basically getting "bonus" xp in addition to the regular xp from the actual quests. Toss in some gold that is not a trivial amount and there is no downside. You also get some good basics of the game, a good reference to the forum and rules (well played), some tools, and some gear. Basically, absolutely no downside and only positives that I can see.
