Dark Devil and Traitor-calling NPCs news

The game has been updated with some changes.

The game staff, with the precious help of a few players we are sincerely thanking, has been working for some time with the goal of finding a good and balanced solution do certain bad behaviours and abuses.

What has been finally done is:
  • Dark Devil's stats has been changed: the monster is now having less XP (3500000 instead of 4000000) and some magic resistance.
    This has been done with the goal of reducing the never-ending fight for spawn the monster has so long been generating.
    It's more balanced.

  • Dark Devil has been removed from Wesstein Teleport Maze map.
    Players have to be able reaching the Wesstein room, without risking their lives because of someone's continuous grinding in the map
    .
  • The NPCs crying "Traitors" are now spawning weakened monsters.
    This is reducing their storytelling effectiveness, but is also making them no more so interesting for certain players spending days on them and blocking lower level players during their quests errands

It was always a risky thing doing the Weisstein hoping no spawning,

A grateful thank you from me too. Been a while since I have done Weisstein but I can only image.

But the spawning around NPC's yelling "Traitor" and killing people that just want to do the quest or others that wish to 'pass through' to/from HGM is a relief.

A few times from "Upstairs" or at the door, I asked for "free passage" and was allowed to pass as soon as the spawn ended, which was nice. Other times ... well, you know.

Well i support the idea of reducing XP from dark devil .
But its quite laughable to see the monsters spawned from traitor NPCs. I mean Green archer and black mages . Really!!

Well i understand that certain players were misusing the traitor NPCs but that doesn't mean that the Regular monster be replaced by weakened monsters. It totally reduces the storytelling experience. Instead why not make some amount of Gold spent when talking to Traitor NPCs. by that way the misuse will stop. For each spawn u spent 500k or 1m gold. so players won't misuse them. its also logical. since u are a traitor, the NPCs will also take ur money..
Replacing them with weakened monsters certainly is a laughable idea according to me.
In each and every map of FT, either some quest is there or some monsters spawn . Players can face problem in any map of FT, so that doesn't mean that for the convenience of players, the regular monsters be replaced by weakened monsters. players should be very well aware of the monsters and play the game.
But yes is some players misuse then somehow make it difficult for them as i suggested by making it costly or increasing the lvl requirements.

OK, this is just me here with one of my opinions.

NPC's should not spawn "killers" unless it is a one time deal that ends a quest or leads to another part of a quest. Think "BAL MUEN".

But an NPC that spawns killers that "first time" quest seekers find is OK, until character(2000) with heavy duty pets comes along and clicks on "Traitor" for hours on end to level.

- quest seekers are killed in those spawns (and their pets if they brought them)
- - - quest seekers have the option to hit X when the NPC yells "Traitor" and the spawn is not activated, therefore their pets are safe, they don't have that option if they walk through the door and die in a spawn without doing anything.

- Also: lower levels that want to pass this NPC to get to a place (HGM) they worked their way through quests to have that access to, were being killed. ( I was one of them a few times )

SO: These changes. OH YEA! They are good for everyone!
