i was under the impression that if a player manually spawns then there is no spawn limit

That's exactly what I thought. Mr maks YouTube clip suggests otherwise though.

Probably because the people that do manual spawns don't normally spawn the HUGE amount shown in the video and it's quite possible that he reached the 400 limit in minutes vs a player spawning a bunch taking the time to kill then then carrying on.

BUT Compbatant did say the limit is 400/hr then move, he didn't mention "auto-spawn". AFAIK.

lostknight brings up a good point and i agree

this update was necessary

i believe those complaining r players that r used to playing afk or using clicker

i just can't see anyway around thinking that way

Watching Maks video suggested to me that he manually spawned to start the autospawn, then the 400 spawned out. So he went back to manual spawn but auto had already depleted the mob. What I wish was added to the video is if he were able spawn more ghost archers in anothere area "x" pixels away and get another 400...If Mak had stayed off the auto pixel, and never allow autospawn, couod he kill unlimited mobs by manual again?

He did move down to the right a bit. Does that cover it?

I saw that he moved and I have been trying to find Compbatant post referring to how many pixels away you have to move from the original spawn spot to spawn a new mob. Its somewhere in this 21 page post I believe. Mr Maks video, he doesnt move far enough away from original spot is how understood it.

I also adjusted spawn limit. It is now set to 400 and it resets every hour. I think it is too much and I will be reducing it until we found good value.
I have 2 questiond about the spawn limit:
Is it limited by spawn point or by map? and
Does logout affect (reset) a player's spawn count, as it does chop count on trees?
It is limited by spawn point. And spawn point is 16x16 tiles where each tile has 32x32px.
Logout doesn't reset it.

Interesting. I completely missed that.

Confused as well btw my mate:)

We nearly cross-posted. I've no idea about the difference in these pixel sizes. I'd need something tangible to see.

Me too Leone. Email.and text is about my limit when it comes to this new fangled computer tech stuff. I did see the movie "Pixels" that had Adam Sandler in it though
