Forgotten Tales

Version 6.8 will be discontinued soon. It was released 3 years ago and I supported backward compatibility on server because some older devices couldn't use newer version. Only 5% players still use it. Google will disable some mechanisms used by this version on 1st November and that's why I am forced to drop support for this version.
The good news is that I can remove some old code needed only for backward compatibility and adding new features should be more easy now. My really old phone bought 9 years ago can still run the newest version of the game so I hope that almost all of you can use it too.

You told us back in January 2021 about this so we knew it was going to happen.

This was first announced years ago so it shouldn't be a surprise to hear.

Tablets died sometime after the PC version came out.

Out of curiosity, what version of Android does your old phone use?
There are a few people that will be buying new tablets so it would be nice to have a baseline level of Android to not go below.

I mention this because with my tables, bought new here, two were 3 versions behind what Android was putting out at the time and the newest one was 2 versions behind.

It is more a matter of supporting OpenGL ES 3.0 than Android version. The minimum Android version required by game is 4.1 released in 2012 but not all phones with that version or newer
have GPU supporting that OpenGL ES version.
