So many don't read - Please when reporting a cheater, please provide information in Paragraph 7
Many of you know that trading items/gold in FT is very common, and almost necessary. The trading system for FT is looking forward to some new changes, and hopefully there will be a marketplace for users to offer items for sale. In the meantime, I would like to offer help to those that may require it. Most items are traded for a gold price, and there is no help needed. However, there are times when players want to trade an item for an item, or sell multiple items for one price, or some other combination. Those types of trades are not protected, and require a great deal of trust. Many times, that trust is broken, and players get cheated. I'm here to help.
1) Some GMs will help players trade items that are not straight trades (item for gold). If you want someone to hold items during a trade, and then disperse those items according to the trade deal, the below list of GMs will be glad to help. Please remember that GMs are from various parts of the world and understand different languages, but not all languages. So if you request help from a GM that does not speak your language, he may not be able to help. The GMs that are currently available, and willing to assist in trades as the "middleman" are:
a) DaHobbit
b) Arashiko (speaks English+French)
c) witch (speaks English/spanish)
2) Unfortunately, I only understand English, so please bare with me if you made a trade in a language that is not English. I will do my best to help you, but please help me understand as well. If you send screenshots of the trade, and the language is not English, please tell me what language it is, and what the meaning is. I may use an online translation program too, but those are not always accurate.
3) If you traded an item/gold, and the other player cheated you, I am volunteering my services to those that were cheated. Your report must be made within 3 days of the trade, or your request for assistance will be denied.
4) The GM team discusses and issues punishments for misbehaving players as the team sees fit. People that are found to intentionally cheat others will face this same process. Punishments can range from a verbal admonishment to permanent jailing, or anything in between, as the GM team decides. So please, do not cheat (or break other rules).
5) Remember that account trading is FORBIDDEN. I will NOT help with any account trading, so please do not even ask. I will only delete your post, and move on to the next one.
6) All trades involving real money such as trading for levels, skins, etc, are not covered here, and I will not be able to help you. However, if you find yourself a victim in a trade involving real money, please report it anyway. You will not get your gold or items back, but the scammer will be punished. He will also be added to my scammers list.
7) When reporting, please provide details of the trade:
a) Your account name that you were using at the time of the trade (exact spelling and case sensitive text)
b) The account name of the person that cheated you (exact spelling and case sensitive text)
c) The date and approximate time the "deal" was made
d) Describe the trade deal (Example: We agreed that I would give my 250 level wand, and he agreed to give me 25m gold, a 200 level sword, and 3 magic trunks.)
e) Describe what part of the deal the cheater did not follow through with (Example: He gave me the trunks and gold, but he did not give me the sword)
f) Please provide screenshots or any other information you may have that will help me understand your complaint.
g) Please indicate what language was spoken during the trade

Instead of keep all posts by players, I will investigate each post, and once I am finished, I will delete the posts. At that time, I will add the "cheater" to the following list:
Because many scammers/cheaters use different accounts to cheat, I think I will start listing the cheater's accounts - all of them. That way you (the players) can check the list to see who you are dealing with. Players may create more accounts, so it is best to not trust any random player when making a big trade. If you are not sure, ask me. I will try to help you.

Read the list of cheaters, folks. That list has been made so you are aware of who the cheaters are, so you can avoid them. Certainly, there are going to be different cheaters in the past, but there is no reason for you to get scammed by the same cheater several times - especially if that player is listed on the cheater's list (example: DragosK is a known cheater, yet more complaints come in).

I really commend you, DaHobbit, for doing this.
This is not an easy job, by any means; it involves many hours of investigations.
The fact that you have volunteered for this job, the community should applaud you for standing up for what is right.
On a personal note, i refuse to get involve in trades, for my own reasons.
But, I admire that you're willing to put in the effort for that too.
It would be nice though, if you could post publicly what punishments were given, to which players; this may give the victims some peace of mind, even though they do not get their stuff back.
Of course, i don't think this would be allowed, but it is wishful thinking.
