That particular chest has been giving issues from time to time.

Update for others: Game data shows I got the item, which was a 500 shield. I certainly did get that and equipped it right away. I likely didn't mark off the room on my sophisticated piece of paper tracking system and went in a second time. There are two different messages for the two chests in the room after the items are collected though, so that coupled with my mistake led to the confusion on my part.

No issue with the chest operation itself though, and revising the notice language will be on the "to do" list. Hopefully that will prevent someone from yelling and screaming about problems and being an overall headache to deal with.

Not ever wanting to insult someone I make sure that people know, for me at least, the K.I.S.S. principle means: Keep it Stupidly Simple.

It looks easy enough to craft if you have a house. I think it's around 50% and my craft skill is horrible.
