Partially right.
You get kicked - and sometimes will face a black screen.
You'll have to log off for the standard amount of time, as if you logged off while under attack.
When you log back on, you should be on start. If you get a black screen, just rinse and repeat. You'll be on start.

The only problem I found in that is not being able to go to the hista bee through the portals.

You can either take the other paths through spider tunnels or through bees, or you can make a clan on your account just long enough to pass through the map. I hope these ideas help.
