The mushy bone guy is a mage and is seeking ingredients from behind the doored area. Those eyes is a NPC in a green room to the left and up in the dungeon..when you find the area with bones he talks about there is a secret door and a spider. This secret door bones area is not found behind the visible doors area.

That's what I'm trying to find - the area with bones and a spider! The "Those eyes" NPC said it was a dungeon to the East...
