Oh!
Calculation of success rate × 10 may be correct!
I also crafted a gold plate with a success rate of 23% and failed 10 times, but the exp gained was 2k.

Haha...I hope not! If so then we should craft high % items and hope for more than expected fails! I still think something has changed, a factor that has changed the formula as given.

Game manual contains incorrect information.

Actual formula for craft XP:
craftXp = 1000 - CraftedItemChance - CraftSkill
where CraftSkill = 30*craftingLevel *craftingCoefficient
craftingCoefficient = 0.75 (swordsman) or 1 (mage, dwarf, ogre) or 1.5 (archer)

But I dont know when and why it was changed.

Interesting... I don't see that there would be a difference in craft xp whether the crafting was successful or not?

Given this calculation you should also get craft xp from high percentage crafts too. If one could quickly and easily craft items like planks or ingots they might be better off doing that in large numbers than going for the difficult crafts that take time? Seemingly the craft xp would be just a bit lower, but the volume would make up for that?

I can't get my head around the formula.

Could someone come up with two or three examples to give the xp gained?

For example,
craft level 6 swordsman attempting to craft a 500 sword

Craft level 5 archer attempting to craft a 750 club

...and so on

(Change levels, classes and items to suit. These just sprung to mind)

How would that apply to:
Craft LvL: 8 Affinity: 0.75
CraftedItemChance = 18% for Gold Plate(150)

kromelg wrote: Thu Jul 18, 2019 2:13 pm クラフトXPのための実際の公式:
craftXp = 1000 - CraftedItemChance - CraftSkill
ここでCraftSkill = 30 * craftingLevel * craftingCoefficient craftingCoefficient =
0.75(刀剣)または1(魔術師、小人、鬼)または1.5(射手)
According to the calculation, if the level 5 archer fails to craft a gold plate with a success rate of 23%,

1000-(23 * 10 = 230)-(30 * 5 * 1.5 = 225) = 545 exp

I will get 545exp.
Oh?
Is this calculation correct?

I presume * is multiply.

So the reason there is the 23 * 10 is 23% = 23/100 or 230/1000. If so, i understand now.

= 1000 - 180 - 180

= 640 xp

EDIT: Ninja'd by Leone - but will post anyway. Since the % calculation is either:

1000*18/100, or
1000*.18 or
by casting out 0's
1000*18/100
10 *18 :D

=== was doing it ===
If I read that right:

craftXp = 1000 - CraftedItemChance - CraftSkill
CraftedItemChance = 1000*18/100 = 180
CraftSkill = 30*8*.75 = 180

1000 - 180 - 180 = 640
1000-(1000*18/100)-(30*8*.75) = 640xp

EDIT 2: At fist I forgot the "1000" and 180-180 just didn't seem fair! :arrow: :mrgreen: :lol: :lol:
