How do I go about acquiring a 1.5k mage staff?

You'll get one when you do the Medals in the arena quest:

It seems that there is a level requirement for starting that quest to gain the weapon of your class. It says I need to be lv 1.5k. Maybe I'm in the wrong area inside the devils castle I don't know.

Actually, I think you may be right there. I did the arena quest when I turned 2k and so didn't see a message about minimum level.


The arena is top left of the green devil floor, which is up the stairs from the devil mushymen floor.

Maybe a couple of others who haven't yet reached 1500 could also check about a minimum level requirement?

The reason that I didn't complete the arena quest earlier is because I already had the 1500 bow from the east cave. LK makes a valid point about this here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16583&p=109277&hili ... nd#p109277

If it's a quest on the top floor of that castle I think that level 1500 to start sounds right. I haven't been there for a bit, but I know I checked when over 1k and wasn't able to do anything. This is on the top left side.

Bottom left side is another noc with a quest and then will improve 1k weapons.
