Mine is also 2 meteors in a row ... never did that with soul stones.
yep drop rate
Steel bow is 5,0%
Swamp is 0,2%
Diamond is 0,1%
steel bow drop rate is 1 bow from 20 mob
deamond is 1 from 1000
swamp is 1 from 500 mob. but what u think why sometimes mob dropping 2-3 together. because drop is random.if u kill 1000 mob may u drop 2 bow at same time at 999 or 1000 mob. if u kill 2000 may u drop 4 bow near 1800-2000 this is random. not specifically 1 bow in 500 mob.
