La quest della madre dello spedizioniere, chiede 20 arcieri fantasma da uccidere, ne ho. Uccisi 200 e non vado avanti
Quest dell'anello di protezione, richiede di parlarne con Ascanius ma, con l'anello con me, non รจ attivo il dialogo

Translation of your questions:

The kill quests require you to get the last hit. So, if your pets are finishing them off or killing them altogether, then the kills won't count.
For the ring of protection, if you haven't completed all of the library quests, then you won't be able to complete this one either.
