Re: % Healing Potions
If they were craftable by all players then I'd support, I've actually already got a huge thread with ideas similar to this.
It's not that I disagree persay, I just don't want them to be another shop item that only high level players can get. I only want to encourage player to player economic improvements
I still don't think they need to be % based for the actual player, I just think it'd be way too OP. The idea sounds nice, but wait til you meet a player with 80 of these 50% potions in their backpack lol

oh, maybe that's why we see this so differently lol... I wouldn't recommend going anywhere near 50% ... i was thinking 5-10% max

It's a nice thought, but many times you're surrounded and can't move until something dies - you or them!Khmer wrote:ALERT... Disengage in fighting and health rapidly returns ALERT

On low end, 5% is fine. Maybe set high end to 20% instead of 50%. All craftable.blitzcraig wrote:oh, maybe that's why we see this so differently lol... I wouldn't recommend going anywhere near 50% ... i was thinking 5-10% max
It's nice to see a lively discussion - this is how change is made!

Yeah I definitely agree 50% is way too much. I think a top end of 20% is fair, although I'd still prefer to use an items with an amount of uses or chance to break on use to conserve limited space.
I think we're agreeing on the basic part but not the details btw lol.
And yes, make them craftable and NOT sellable at a shop whilst also letting anyone craft them regardless of level. That will encourage players with less wealth to craft and sell for a nice profit to us lazy players with gold

Re: % Healing Potions
yes, i think we mostly agree here lol... however, i think making them sell at shop is better for two reasons...
1> set the price high to help the lower level crafting players maintain a good price (buy it from me for X... that's half of what it is in the shop)
2> players will inevitably still buy from shop, creating a much-needed, long-term gold sink
