but well i still agree with this idea, tho it's not yet developped or put in interest. hopefully comp check it out. but we need more ideas and it. and for the equipments designs, think should update their looks to meteor and magic tools, as well as adding a fishing rod +4 as a magical tool not meteor tool (means no +5) because fishing is the easiest to upgrade, and it would be so op to make it +5.
in order to balance Jessie's idea, making magical tools +5 requiring some hard work to obtain is a great idea. but i will try and update it. reach lvl 10 in mining you unlock the meteor pickaxe to craft it by a 10% chance with 10 meteor ingots, 3 magic planks and a mithril pickaxe (hard work!)
same for woodcutting. reach lvl 10: 10 meteor ingots, 3 magic planks and a mithril pickaxe at 10% chance
hammer go 10 building and same as above, but mithril hammer instead.

for magical tools, it requires lvl 13-14 (you decide) to unlock it for crafting, at a 100% chance (its already an achievement to be 13-14) requiring:
10 magic gems, 10 magic planks and a meteor tool (except for the fishing rod requiring 5 mithril rods).

what's your take on this? i think its good

the tools+4 is hard to get.

what you think how the tools+5 should be able to get ???

there is no chance to get such a tool. i play since years my mage and crafted a lot. he is still 9.
I think in game is NOONE level 12 or 13 in game.

That noone can reach !

Maybe if someone is only crafting 5 years in a row.

Its a nice idea...why not ! Noone will get it in his lifetime :)

SK I think generous meant your level in mining not crafting level. 10 is very reachable..and 13-14 isn't impossible. I prefer the idea of earning the right to make +4 tools rather than a drop...but then again I like mining and crafting! :lol:

That better 12 or 13 in craft.
My dwsrf is still 12 in mining.
It will be too easy.

Such legendary Tools should not reachable fast. And only a high crafter should get the rights to craft them

Well, I would like the idea of earning your way to the tools.
However there we have another problem: affinities

Let's for example talk about +5 tools and affinities.

Remember this is an EXAMPLE!

Set lvl 10 as a base point: IE: Base Skill Level 10 then adjust according to affinities.

Crafting a +5 tool would be at 100% but materials can be difficult to get which just might set some sort of character level requirement to get at them.

I like the idea: No Trade | No Sell | No Fish - Can be dropped

Required Skill Level to get the chance to craft a +5 tool at Craft: 100%
Mining:
- Sword and Mage: 10 x 1 = 10
- Archer: 10 x 0.75 = 7.5
- Dwarf: 10 x 1.5 = 15
- Ogre: 10 x 0.5 = 5

Chopping:
- Sword & Dwarf: 10 x 1.25 = 12.5
- Archer & Ogre: 10 x 1 = 10
- Mage: 10 x 0.75 = 7.5

Fishing:
- Sword: 10 x 1 = 10
- Archer & Dwarf: 10 x 0.5 = 5
- Mage: 10 x 1.25 = 12.5
- Ogre: 10 x 1.5 = 15

Building:
- Sword: 10 x 0.5 = 5
- Archer: 10 x 1.25 = 12.5
- Mage: 10 x 1.5 = 15
- Dwarf: 10 x 1 = 10
- Ogre: 10 x 0.75 = 7.5

AND:
What about people that already have +4 tools but do not have the new "required" level to have them? Would they be exempt from the new level rule.
Also remember they can be traded and sold now. Would that change?

for your saying LK. I'd say we can still give suggestions to balance the ifea of these tools for each class. in terms of the speed interval between class on few skills, can be balanced between classes by a formula like you said. the 10 of the archer e.g. in mining is 7.5, as for dwarf is 15. but what about the craft affinity? everyone in the game gets the same amount of points to lvl up crafting, even the swordsman's equal to archer's (but in fact it depends on luck). we need also compbatant ideas... i guess no work without a 'yes' from the leader out there !!

the problem on it is i think:

The needed items can be traded or getten from other accs of themself.

If there is a tool+5 it should not be able to trade !

It should be crafted by a character alone.

It would be a good idea, if the programm will recognice that the needed items to craft such atool will come not from the character who try to craft that tool.

It would b too easy if the needed items for it, when it is possible to become them from other players.

The one who will craft such a tool+5 can pay other players for getting materials for him. Thats not the best idea i think.

A tool+5 should ONLY be crafted by self.

The other reason is: the tools+4 are atm tooooo rare and hard to get. The price is ok for that work on it. A tool+4 is MAX 20b gold !

If there will be a tool+5 soon, the price of a tool+4 will become to zero, because all wanna have a tool+5, and noone will kill a scorpion.

Better idea will be: lats CRAFT a tool+4 ... not a 5.

Its a good idea for the future, but atm its not needed or too early.

The idea of such tools is old 4 years, and we waited 4 years for tool4. Lets wait another 4 years for tools5.

The marked is still empty of tools4 atm, and a tool5 is not realy needed atm.

Its only my opinion...

Dont think about it atm...lets wait another year or 2 or more please.

We need such events like the scorpions more and more because the multiplayer is getting less atm, because most players get all from higher players.

On my opinion, many items should not be tradeable atm, becasue the forgotten tales world is overflooded with all.

Its all tooooooooo easy atm.

Players trading high items to lower...
Gold will be trasfered to lower...

Noone needs to fight or work for any items atm !

This game is too easy atm for all.

I can raise an acc to level 100 in 2 days atm.
In the past it has taken weeks :(

Its not fair for older players who worked maaaaany years for an acc.



A TOOL +5 IS NOT NEEDED ATM !!!
