why do not they do tournament in the game

There are tournaments called spawn parties (follow link below). These take a lot of work for GMs to set up and the GMs unfortunately get criticised by some players as the parties are at the wrong time, on the wrong day or whatever.

Unsurprisingly, after being criticised over and over again the GMs haven't organised one in a while. Plus, it seems they have enough to do sorting out players who have cheated and there isn't time for much else.
