A restoration - a time to reflect

Post by Leone »

Comp is busy fixing some major bugs. Many are clan related. Not all, but here is the main theme.

Let's think about our role in this. No pointing fingers and no blame game.

I'm still aiming towards a cease fire. It might just help clans in the future to develop.

Dialogue is always better than conflict.

A "Cease Fire" would be great.

Give both sides time to reflect.

That would be a nice idea. The main problem..one side has shown they dont care. They abused a bug, and got away with it. They feel no remorse, and given a chance, would do it again.

There can be no peace, no cease fire, as long as one side wants only war.

↑↑↑ as is true in Real Life as well.

I think it would be a good thing if Compbatant declared a "Cease Fire" until the bugs are fixed, with a WARNING of jail for those that don't.

As is evident from things I read - BOTH sides have abuse this bug.

I'm brand new here but it seems as if it's only 2 sided. Maybe come up with a 3rd, more stronger alliance that's for the betterment of the game. As a newcomer coming in... it's not a good look for the leadership involved. Known issues, and nothing being done about it seems like a recipe for disaster.

Personally, I think the general rules about not abusing glitches is all needed any any breaking (even if maybe fixed later) deserves punishment. Maybe comp should just lock the clan maps. Anyone who logs in while on a map would fer moved to spawn, sort of like the change months back about only clan members being able to access the maps with a mechanism to boot unclanned members if they logged there.
Old soldiers never die, they just fade away.

We've all read Seth's post. Now it's definitely time to reflect, take stock and most of all - stop.

I hope so and I hope it's not too late.

Well it could be this post or this post or, my personal favourite, this post, they all lead to the same thing: Soon the axe will fall! And I'm sure heads will roll.

This ""Clangate" is about as big as the "Dupegate" we had at least in time spent and how it is affecting ALL players in the game.

Me I issued my: "LK, you will ceases and desist any and all comments on clan related topics."
Let the chips fall where they may.
