Re: Message Windows
OOPS!!!! Off Topíc ....
Love the implementation ... Thank you!
Keyboard arrows are my mouse hand and wasd are an awkward position for my right hand that is missing the tip of a finger. OK that's, me not anyone else, but the D-Pad is there for a reason.
Also D-Pad is essential for precision pet control.

Also using "tap" to walk my character at times makes a detour to walk a "bricked path" when I didn't tap there.
This is the game controlling where IT wants my character to go, not where I tapped for it to go.
Love the
Code: Select all
/msg <name> quick response
Yes one can ... but no convenient 45° angles.compbatant wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 1:11 amYou can use keyboard arrows or aswd buttons to move it should be more convenient.LostKnight wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 1:03 am Although holding the mouse button constantly to move is a GRRRR!!!!

Re: Message Windows
Windows version shows only black screen and usernames on log in. I can also hear sound but no visual other than seeing character names. How can I fix this?

Re: Message Windows
Update your Java version on your PC.
I can't post a link here, so i'll just have to tell you to google "Java download" on your browser. Java's wwbsite will tell you which version you need. Download and install that and FT for PC should work fine.

Re: Message Windows
I know that this has been changed but this does not work for me. When I click on the green check mark, my chat window pops up with something like this:LostKnight wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2019 10:20 pm When we get a message we click on the "Envelope"
Now that "Window" with the message has a Red X or a Green Check that both do the same thing: they close the conversation.
Suggestion:
The Red X: closes the conversation
The Green Check: automatically opens the send a message sequence to the sender of the message.
msg/friends name
When I try to type a message it just displays it in public chat.
It looks something like this:
msg/Ryaca_1 Hey how are you doing?
I have a new phone and have the latest version of FT.
Another thing I have noticed is when I click my back button, the FT app completely shuts down and my screen goes to my app menu page. Clicking the back button used to take me to the log in screen. I wish this would not have changed.
OK MAYBE I WILL USE THIS ACCOUNT EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE
Re: Message Windows
Ok. Lostknight helped me with this. I wasn't moving the cursor in the right place. When the chat window pops up with /msg LostKnight, the cursor is before the backslash(/) symbol. I have to move the cursor to the place after the players name and then type the message for it to work.

Re: Message Windows
That is definitely on the odd side. Like why can't the cursor be in the "ready to type" position after the /msg Name part?

Re: Message Windows
Thank you for posting this. I've been meaning to but keep forgetting. Agree...cursor should be after msg recipient's name.

Re: Message Windows
Well, the cursor works fine in the Computer version of FT v7
At least as far as running in Linux anyway. Can't speak for Windows or iOS
=-=-= Another bug with Message Windows =-=-=
If there is a "space" in the persons name.
hits check and sees:
types in Hi back:
ENTER
Game thinks Corsair sent a /msg to "Swift"

Code: Select all
Swift Wolf: Hello
Code: Select all
/msg Swift Wolf
Code: Select all
/msg Swift Wolf Hi back
