I like it when I read many interesting ideas.
I hope that others will also publish their ideas and suggestions.

Currently the debates are for maps and monsters.

Currently we have map slate and map 4.0 the one with human fortress.
Monsters we have humans against orcs. Start hunting out the names of monsters.

I suggest
All the ghosts of page 3 of the enemy list (magician, archer, dwarf and ogre) that come out of the mountain to attack human fortress (lord of the rings XD)

The giants on pages 4 and 5 that attack Ardesia (lava, spider and cava giant )

Proposals.
I look forward to reading yours. Then we develop them following the scheme of the combtant

At the beginning I learned to stay away from the "Events" at Ashdown and Martek.

Example as to why: in Ashdown I'd find people lvl±200 fishing and letting their pets feast away on the spawn. The poor little guys got nothing. I saw one swordsman with his pets there bragging that he and "loaded and sold 4 loads" of drops "already" and the spawn was still going. He never got a level of course because he would have had to have been there all day for that. I created Cosair (fairy) with the sole purpose to go there and heal low level players ... became an exercise in frustration as I was helping the high levels do their "stealing". One day I went over and "helped no one", just clicked on low levels that were complaining about the high level pets and gave each one 100k.

For example: if Ashdown and Martek are examples of what is going to happen, level 200-400 mobs will attract lvl 2k+ players.

NOW saying that ... Ardesia - I see two events - maybe bi-weekly, one week a Northern swarm where medium level mobs attack the NW and NE gates. Leave the centre gates free - after all Ardesia is a "Quest Area" starting for people at level 20 and I see a few lvl 30 Ice monsters here being dragged around looking for stuff, would not be a nice move killing those. It's also a non-PvP area so all will partake as if there is a "truce" in place.

Medium lvl mobs here - ±200 to 400. Once every 2 weeks

And on the week between the evens above a higher level swarm at the south gates of Ardesia ... 750 to 1000 maybe.
People will have to walk through Ardesia and out the south gates or down the east and west edges to get to it.

past times at 4 0 were a spawn of fire archers, taken away because considered too dangerous for low level questers.
why not think about using a cave? for example left side of cave that is accessible only after earthquake? I mean the one in Dino map

Hungry_Wolf an underground invasion could be "invented" to be destroyed by "those who dwell in the mountain XD" (ghghgh ghosts)

LostKnight you're right but I think that SOUTH Ardesia is a bit tight.
we make both attacks to the NORTH ... but it doesn't make much sense.

North Ardesia in nice, giant attack. Underground Cave is nice too, ghost attack.

Maybe come up with a script that runs on "random" days so people do not "park there" waiting like they do fishing at Ashdown. This of course would require Compbatant or gandalf's input.

True, it is tight, but for stronger levels, there is access from above and through the south gates. Would definitely be a challenge.

I'm thinking of the lower levels trying to gain access to Ardesia.
Already I can see people dragging mobs to the centre gates of the city - hoping to get some unsuspecting soul looking to gain entrance to the city.

So maybe just the "medium level" attack on the northern gates of Ardesia - 2 areas - 1 area each week.

Tere is also more totally open areas :
- SE corner of Banktown map (-1.1)
- centre of Map 1.1 - the desert
- or something on the centre of "Fairy Island" (3.3) for the really brave!

I like hungrywolfs idea of using a more contained area rather than a wide open area where the unsuspecting may be caught at spawn time. I was thinking about using the various areas in the colleseum (in Martek stronghold) for varying levels at one time or different time different level of monsters. Keep it around a theme such as undead uprising, or devil attack, or insects and worms seek retribution.

I think that PvP is still allowed in the coliseum so my preference would be to switch to no PvP.
