Kill Pets In Storage

I would like to suggest an option to kill a pet in the pet storage area. Here's my case for it:

A player puts his shop pets in storage to go somewhere dangerous. He levels up and is at a level where he wants to buy real money pets now. So, he does. He activates them, choosing great pets he wants to keep forever.

He needs to go to a new dangerous place now. So, he wants to store his new pets like a responsible owner. One problem: the shop pets are in storage still! He made a mistake and must kill a pet he wants to remove and kill one he doesn't.

This isn't ideal. No, we shouldn't be able to swap pets, but if I can kill one in storage, I can keep another that I want.

This won't solve all problems, but it could fix a common one. Thanks.

A good option there. It would not allow swapping pets, but would allow a player to make a choice on what pets to store.
Old soldiers never die, they just fade away.

Great idea! We already have a remove pet option when out in the field why not for a stored pet. ;)

Just create an option

- Collect Animal
or
-Delete Animal

Obviously followed by a confirmation tick (do you really want to delete this pet?)

Maybe this way the problem is solved. No exchange. But choice of the most important animal.

I really like this idea.

I would add an information sign in game. About how the barn works.

THIS IS WHAT I WAS SAYING
because my friend wanted to keep his fairies nd he got lvl 500 for ogres he couldnt take fairies back out to lvl unless he kill an ogre

If he had 2 fairies in storage and 2 ogres on him, he'd still have to kill one of either the fairies or ogres if this was implemented.. I think you had mentioned a straight swap before? From another thread, I think Comp was against that.

Let us all read LordSeth's announcement about the pet stable again.

This is a gift for us players after 8 years of our game and a bonus for 6 years after pets were introduced.

Let's not lose sight of that. This is one of the best updates in the history of ft.

For those complaining about having to kill lower level pets to get higher levels ones, you would have had to have done this anyway before the pet stable. Don't forget that.

If you are not sure about the pet stable, practise with shop pets before you do so with real money ones.

Read the forum. This is where you will find out information about the game.

Thats right !
Its the BEST UPGRADE in ft EVER !
Ppls cryed allways that they lost their pets.
Now is it able to save them without a house and ppls crying too.

If u know u will buy anew pet...why u not killed ur old before u activate pets.

It makes no sense to poark them in stable for u, if u know u would buy new pets.

The only think u can do is:

before u activate ur new buyed pet...go to stable, take of ur old pets from the stable and kill it.
Than u can activate ur new pet !

i dont understand it.

Its only to save ur time...or ?

PLZ dont discuss about the stable...its an awesome gift for ALL players.

Before it not was, u have to buy houses for 50Euros/dollars.

Dont cry about any lost pet now plz.

Sry, but in my opinion all is good there, and not need to be changed !

I think it happens most in two cases:

1. They don't understand how the stable works even if we've tried to explain it.

2. Put the pets in there and some time passes by. You forget if your pets were killed or are stored, and you're able to get new pets (shop or otherwise). More time passses until you need to store those fine pets you've been wandering with for weeks. Uh oh! You're stuck!

I think the stable is great too, so this isn't a complaint. It is just my theory on how players can end up in a bad situation. And a suggested option for improving that situation when it happens again.

I understand what justj99 is saying, but for years I heard:

Pets are your responsibility. every time I lost a pet.

Pet storage was created to help people and works exactly how it was designed to work.

Anyone can read the forums, they do not have to join the forums to just read.

People [check] "I accept the game rules" - with a direct link to the rules.
Many do not read them, just click that they have and then complain later when they get 'caught'.

I remember DaHobbit saying shortly after Ardesia and Hobbs Gold Mine opened, and a few complaints started coming in, as with a lot of new maps, "Give them something free and they complain!"
