And many people who don't like PvP are not going to show up on an enemy list.

Some people who like clans and PvP will do things like dropping clans and maybe even having a PvP protection item that they can suddenly use to get out of being attacked. That is not the play style of many people so don't assume that it is.

Automatic subscription or item in your backpack? I prefer the latter rather than the former, for the reasons Gull outlines above.

As for Syor's point - I do not believe the existing rule about losing pvp protection should be altered just because the period of time is longer. It is about a player taking responsibility for their actions ingame.
I agree with these two statements.
Not necessary to add anything else at this time.time.

IF the list had existed back when I was level 75 I'd be on GOLGREN's enemy list.
He was TANKING Red Monsters for me under Silverwood and I see:

Code: Select all

LOST HITTING GOLGREN IT TICKLES!
. . . OOPS!

But the "Enemy List" is a nice thing to have. I've even forgiven 2 people on that list, and not because it was a mistaken attack either.

Strictly speaking the game is not a PvP game.

There is PvP, PvM, PvL and PvPP(rotection) along with quests, grinding and crafting.

For those of us that do not like PvP and play the PvL version because we cannot buy PvPP it's important to know that. At least at this time in the game.

The monthly PvPP item (30 days) would be a welcome addition to many a backpack I would think.

Here's a thought.

Code: Select all

-- player activates PvPP Item
PvPPdays == {what is needed to calculate days left}
  if <= 6
    PvPP + PvPPdays
  else
    echo "You cannot use PvPP yet."
  end_if
end_if
Also have the (i) tab show something like:

Code: Select all

PvPP: 18 days
So if applied "PvPP Item" on the day you have 6 days left, your (i) would show

Code: Select all

PvPP: 36 days
The maximum number of days a player can have.

Or something like that.

KUDOS to davidjett for the idea.

let me understand something:

The enemy list is that one in the "i" section atm or not ....

If its in the "i" than i "forgive" them, and they con not atk me any longer ?

Atm the situation is that:

I am in Clan "x", and EVERYONE atking me.....
I gone out off Clan, but the enemies can still kill me, because they r still in my list. But i am out of clan, and have maaaany levels difference.

That means, the off-clan makes no sense, if someone atked me as i was IN clan.

Right or not ?

The enemy list is in the i section, yes. For non-clan fights, anyone below, or 3 levels above, your level can attack you. While they are on your list, you can attack THEM no matter the level.

They started a fight, and you are allowed to finish it. When you kill them or use forgive, they will be removed from your list. So, you can no longer attack them if they are more than 3 levels lower.

How in the world is PvP Protection pay to win?

And Now I'm curious:
- How long has PvP Protection, 7 days, been available for purchase?

That would be the same as saying buying a house is a "PayToWin" item because you do not have to join a clan to craft items over level 100. Ridiculous!

If you attack someone with pvp protect, you lose it. So, how is that pay to win? All they can do is stop someone attacking with it.

As said elsewhere, buying levels makes it pay to win too. However, a good strategy, talent, and/or team work can overcome a lot!

Levels aren't all there is to winning in pvp.

There is a lot of disagreement here over something (that is just a suggestion and likely won't even happen) that really changes nothing at all. :lol:

This is just suggesting something that has been around for years have a sale price when you buy more of it. Buy 1 item at regular price for $1.50 but buy 4 of them at the sale price of $5.00 pretty much.
