Maybe your game froze/disconnected. Maybe you were AFK. Or maybe it just happened so quick you don't know what happened. All you know is you're dead, back at the start map, checking to see if you lost anything.
I suggest the game let you know who/what killed you, and what your losses were (item/exp). This can be a message, a log, an email, or whatever. This way you know who to enact revenge on, or whether just some monsters killed you.

I certainly can agree with this because if you are attacked and die randomly chances are a mage cast his teleport spell on you..haha, anyways yes maybe a log (just like friends list) and as it gets full the very first person that was added gets deleted automatically as I'm sure this list would fill faster than the friends list.

Ive now been killed by doom several times. He stole my ring and chased me around trying to steal more items. This unlimited pvp must stop. If petulant unloved sacks of smegma like Doom keep going, people will just leave and play something else.
