Hammers - What for?

The offline game was the original game and is different from the MMORPG!

Hammers - What for?

Post by LostKnight »

I've started crafting stuff while waiting in doctors office etc.

There are no "clans" so what are hammers used for in the Offline game?

Good question. It's been a long long time since I played offline ft but you couldn't build own buildings then. Unless this has changed? Although no mention on here.

Maybe they're required for quests

@ Leone

AHA! A future event that never made it. Would have been nice to at least been able to "build a Storage building". Now a house for crafting but gust to store stuff like keys maps, picks, axes and rods.

Which brings another question, can one fish in offline game? And for items?

@ Humble - Possibility as well.

Does offline game really have any quests that are different from the online game, other than finding teammates? I don't think I ever cracked level 20 in the offline game, and that was probably 5 years ago, so I have no clue other than the quest log.

No. Quite the opposite, in fact. The offline game is still version 4.x, while the MMO is 6.7.4. Many changes (including the game engine itself) have happened to the MMO since the last update to the offline.

@ SellSword

I'm at lvl 50 on both tablets .. That's why I started crafting ... gear. Don't play at home only when I'm out and no wifi.

There are some differences I have noticed, but not far enough into it to really know. LOTS and LOTS of blood mummies to get gold ... but then you lvl up so gear is always way under my level.

Did not get mage... maybe start another game [Slot 2] with mage.

Yeah, the rpg would be really nice if it was updated like the online version. Separate issue, and plenty of threads to chime in on it if one wishes. I just never really got into it much the first time around, and don't have enough extra time to devote to another decent go at it.

And there's the differences I have seen ... a lack of things.
