Gmail: mail to Outbox, not Sent

Gmail: mail to Outbox, not Sent

For the past few hours I have been trying to get gmail to "send a mail" it won't. Mails get stuck in "Outbox".

Started because I was trying to send a screenshot of the game to post here!

Been searching the net and testing stuff for hours ... nothing works! (So far)

At one point, on my new tablet I see:

So I click on it:
You have 1 mail not sent in the Outbox!
If I typed here, what I said out loud, I would be banned in seconds.

I can receive emails, and because I have 3 'devices' Google is sending me Security Alerts every time I open the email app:

Open it on A: 8" Tablet - oldest
Open it on B: 10" Tablet - 2nd oldest
- Security Alerts Device A has accessed your account. Was that you?
Open it on C - 7" Tablet little more than a week
- Security Alerts Device A has accessed your account Was that you?
- Security Alerts Device B has accessed your account Was that you?

Of course I answered "Yes" .... and it still persists! Was that you? Was that you? Was th{snip}
YES! GOOGLE! IT'S ME!
and so in ...

Deleted ALL emails that went back a week on device B, I do it regularly Device A was clean. And my new device :o WTFarmer. Only a week or so old, deleted 390 emails that went back more than a year.

NONE of the devices as of earlier today can send a gmail email!

Has anyone else had this issue? Searching the net shows similar problems with some post 4 - 5 years old but nothing suggested has worked.

Before anyone asks: Yes, same thing with all three tablets! They are all connected to the same gmail account. Is Google sooooo naive to think that people only have one device?

Did a "Factory Reset" of all three tablets

FIRST: 8" Tablet A [Android 5] - "El Cheapo" that keeps logging me off ... getting configured now.


SECOND: 10" Tablet B - [Android 6] Factory Reset and partially configured is working but all my other apps are missing. :( Mail "seems to work for the moment, but there is a BUT:

Play Store > {swipe} > My apps & games > library ... shows none of the old apps I had installed (it should) but shows a lot of Android 7 Apps that are on my new 7" "El Cheapo II" that has more Internal memory than the other 2 put together and cost me less than the first one. Was not even on the shelves in the store, collecting dust in the back.

THIRD: 7" Tablet C - [Android 7] - factory reset - needs configuring.

*** Lost FT RPG lvl 65 last week it was FT RPG lvl 52 that died. ***

New Question - any way of turning Email "OFF" on two of these devices so there is NO syncing needed?
