Brought over from The New Clan map thread where this is really off topic.

Dislike: Current (still active) mechanic that automatically moves a player to a damaged clan building (same clan or allied), or automatically walking to any npc clicked on, even though tap-to-move is disabled in client settings.

If i am incorrect, can someone clarify?
YES! Colours mine!

Sliding finger off the D-pad to walk in that direction.

Works in version 7.3 BETA (Linux) sliding finger past screen edge.
Does not work in 7.3.1 or 7.3.2 (Linux) at all - any direction

ANDROID v6.8:
W, SW or S does not work in Android v6.8 because of borders.
BUT
- place finger on NW position an slide up - you walk NW
- place finger in SE position and slide E and you walk SE
- other directions work just fine
Somebody reported this as a problem some time ago and that's why i removed it. I can't find the post about it and don't remember who reported it.

Can anyone give a rationale on the current system why it does those things mentioned...to clan building or to npc...and if this is useful and why.
The original seems logical to save pushing a directional button constantly, although I mostly use tap to move anyway I would like to hear some pros and cons.

The problem is, as Dwarf tank put it, is he has "tap turned OFF" but taping an NPC, building" etc causes him to move to them disregarding the fact that tap to move is turned off.

Ok so we are not talking about the same operation by swiping...but that other movement problems exist. Swipe is voluntary the other is not.

This poll is about bringing back Voluntary Joystick Swipe Continuous Walk.

Other kinds of Autowalk need discussed in a separate thread, please.

The first post by LK brings up the subject as a quote...can't see how that is off topic at all. Perhaps I misunderstood the context ...and you misunderstood me. I thought one problem had replaced another and since this is a forum to ask for opinions towards this survey seems reasonable to me.

I meant no disrespect to anyone with my comments. I was just trying to point out which one had been removed (poll topic), and steer the conversation AWAY from the other kinds. The other kinds of Autowalk (usually clicking an npc or unfinished clan structure) have existed for as long as I can remember.
