No "Action" button for mining?

I noticed today (just a few minutes ago) that when at a mining resource, the "action"/attack button no longer works to start mining. I have to click on the mining resource itself. Posting here since there was no announcement about changes (at least that I saw), I'm assuming the change was unintentional and a new bug. I had this issue at diamonds, carbon, and iron today.
