It isn't just a 10% chance of getting an item over level 500. The first step is the game selecting a random item (no quest items and such). If the item selected is below 500 it will be given to the player. If the item selected is 500 or above then it is a 10% chance.

SORRY I did not see ↑↑↑

Edit to quote is mine:
Aogon wrote: Thu Oct 13, 2022 1:44 pm I got confirmation that level 2000 items and below can be dug up still.
Items that are not fishable can not be dug, and
if the item chosen (from all items) has a level > 500,
- - then there is only a 10% chance it will be given.

10% is high chance ... lol
You need to reread Aogon's post again.

1. there is a small change of getting an item, let's say as an example: 0.1%
2. you dig you dig and you DIG
3. you dig you dig and you DIG
4. finally you hit that 0.1% and a "random item" is chosen from the list:
- if the "random item" is <= level 500 - you get said item.
- if the "random item" is > level 500
- - YOU ONLY HAVE A 10% CHANGE OF GETTING IT.

we should collect a lot of skeletts from graves tio get a little gift for it at a smith or else !

We should be able with a low chance to get a veeeeery Ancient skeletton in maybe RED color out of a grave.

Collecting red colored will get a special reward with a higher chance. Maybe a shovel2...lol

A special building at a graveyard will be able to give rewards for collected skeletts.

It would be a nice reward for digging too.

Maybe you can hold it in memory for future updates !

Copy this idea into the suggestions cection if it would be a good idea.

We can discuss here more to work it out a bit more.

Maybe we can make players more happy on spending time on digging :)

This post should not be closed...

We are thanksfull for every players experiences on shoveling or other ideas on how we can work it a bit more out !

It only a little idea on it from me.

Maybe it is a nice idea :)

And maybe a shovel2 should not be tradeable, and we need it for the next shovel (shovel3) ! Its only an idea from my side.

When digging first began I had an alt full of rotting corpses just in case like SK suggests you could trade them for something. But...the area around my house began to stink really bad so I made the alt dump his treasures far away and take a very long bath!

It was suggested once that some graves have a special skeleton part. Two legs, two arms, ribs, and head. When you get one of each you can trade for a prize. :D

Fishing has fish and rare fish you can use or sell, why not skeletons or skeleton parts? :?:

Collect the parts and you build a follower. ???? Would give an incentive to dig ?? But would have to be level equivalent.
