hunt quest idea

Post by MadMikael »

I did the 3 animal head quest. Why not have a quest where you have to kill 1 of every monster in the game? If there are too many monsters it could be done in 2 parts or more.

Great idea for a new quest, it would take some time!

I have had another thought about this after reading some posts about bosses.

What I imagine is several hunt lists, starting with easier monsters first, and progressively getting harder. Eventually, the hunt could be for much rarer game, namely boss monsters.

In this way, players could be gradually introduced to monsters, and find the elusive boss monsters. The bosses locations could be either just given, or perhaps require side quest(s) to find.

I.E. Talk to the old man in the village, he claims to have seen a snow dragon when he was a boy. (then you would have to do something to earn the old man's trust)

Also, once all hunts are completed, perhaps it would be possible to have repeatable "random" hunts, where the game randomly chooses trophies for you to go out and collect for a reward.
