missing npcs

Playing RPG version, and neither the grave digger in ashdown, nor Sebastius in library cellar will appear so I can complete quests.

It is all working. please check the general game help. there is a post "quest manual" with detailled descriptions. you need to complete other quests to be able to do those.

The problem is, its hard to spawn npc.
It took me 10 minutes of walking to spawn Sebastius...

It does seem that all of the NPC spawns are a lot farther away from where they used to be, and harder to get them to spawn..

I'm pretty sure I have done all relevant quests for each. I have the letter in hand for the grave digger, and after delivering the symbol and book to the librarian upstairs, he sent me downstairs. There are no other requirements for those quests that I can see in the manual. However, even if I don't meet the requirements for a particular quest, don't NPCs normally show up anyway without the duologue symbol over their heads?

I went back and tried them again, and got lucky this time I guess, but thanks for checking it Gandalf.
