a new island?

I see on some updated maps in -1 -3 there is a new island with a walled castle, is this for online only or a update to come. Since last update I am able to cross the bridge marked OUT but the boat driver will not talk to me so I figured its a update to come.

the walled castle was the old map, the boat driver is the new map ... overall plan has changed since that Map was originally added to game
